What started as a better way for us to manage production and printing for clients has grown into an important leap forward for transforming how businesses communicate and work.The Digital Print Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring digital print equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality production of printed materials. This role supports daily production by executing print jobs according to job specifications, maintaining workflow, and ensuring output meets company quality standards. The Print Operator works in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and plays a critical role in meeting production deadlines and customer expectations.Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00PM to 10:30 PM. May require weekend or extended hours based on production schedules and mailing deadlines.Operate digital print equipment (e.g., cut sheet laser, cut sheet inkjet, roll-fed inkjet) to produce print jobs in accordance with job tickets and specificationsEnsure correct materials are used, including paper stock selection and proper job setup as directedMonitor print jobs to ensure quality, alignment, and accuracy of outputIdentify and escalate equipment issues, print defects, or workflow disruptions to appropriate teams (e.g., IT or Maintenance)Maintain consistent production flow to meet daily output goals and deadlinesPerform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment as requiredFollow all production schedules and prioritize work based on job requirements and deadlinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAdhere to all company policies, safety standards, and operational proceduresAccurately complete production logs and required documentationOther duties as assignedEducation & TrainingHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be able to speak, read, and write in EnglishPossess a valid driver’s licenseSkills & Experience1–3 years of experience in a print production or manufacturing environment preferredExperience working with digital print equipment (laser, inkjet, or similar production machines) preferredAbility to operate Printers (OCE, Canon, Konica, Ricoh)Familiarity with print job specifications and production workflowsAbility to follow detailed instructions and job tickets with a high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic computer skills (ability to navigate systems, job queues, and production tracking tools)Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move materials (up to 20 lbs)Ability to work around production equipment in a manufacturing settingWe offer multiple benefit programs to our employees and their families which include: 401(k) match, medical plans, dental, vision, flex spending account, short-term and long-term disability & life insurance coverage.EEO StatementEqual Opportunity EmployerNordis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment.
