Job summary

Avery Dennison's Vestcom unit is seeking a Digital Print & Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will process digital data files, operate high-speed printers, and stage finished products to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and minimizing waste.

This fast-paced role requires reliability on shifts (A and B) with starting pay of $21-22 per hour, plus the ability to learn ERP and printing systems, lift up to 50 lbs, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer literacy with ERP/digital printing systems.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good visual acuity including color vision.
• Flexibility for overtime or alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Print Operations: process data files and operate multiple digital printers per schedule.
• Quality Control & ERP Tracking: inspect output and log job data in ERP system.
• Workflow & Logistics: stage jobs and manage inventory/pre-printed stock.
• Equipment Maintenance & Safety: perform routine checks and follow PPE guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: communicate with supervisors to handle rush orders and changes.

About the Role

Join our manufacturing team as a Digital Print & Production Operator! In this fast-paced role, you will process digital data files, operate high-speed printing equipment, and stage finished products to meet critical customer deadlines. You will play a vital role in maintaining strict quality standards, minimizing material waste, and supporting a seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities

Print Operations: Process data files and operate multiple digital production printers simultaneously following daily production schedules.

Quality Control & ERP Tracking: Inspect printed output to ensure zero-defect quality standards. Log job completion, time, and materials accurately in the ERP work order system.

Workflow & Logistics: Stage printed jobs for finishing and lamination. Monitor inventory levels and organize pre-printed stock and warehouse materials.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine checks, place service calls for technical repairs, maintain a safe work area, and follow all PPE guidelines.

Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with supervisors and team leads to resolve data discrepancies and accommodate rush orders or schedule changes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn ERP software and digital printing systems.

High attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a strong drive to deliver high-quality work.

Physical capability to stand for majority of the shift and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Good visual acuity, including close vision and color vision to distinguish print quality.

Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as business needs require.
