Job summary

RPI Print is seeking a Digital Print Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development across our digital print production environment. You will apply expertise in digital printing, pre-press workflows, and production validation to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Collaborate with design, prepress, and operations teams; develop test plans; validate new products and equipment; monitor output for defects; maintain SOPs; and train operators while supporting cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in digital print manufacturing, with pre-press and validation exposure.
Experience with major digital print platforms (HP Indigo, Xerox, Canon) or similar.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methods.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to other company locations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with design, prepress, and operations to ensure end-to-end production.
Review project scopes and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Develop and implement test plans for validation and quality.
Create validation protocols for new digital print products, processes, and equipment.
Conduct print trials, performance testing, and documentation for readiness.
Partner with quality and regulatory teams to maintain standards.
Monitor print output for defects; assist root cause analysis.
Maintain SOPs and document materials testing and instructions.
Provide hands-on training for operators on digital print best practices.
