Job summary

Clipp in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Digital Press Process Tech to operate and optimize press systems, ensuring high quality output and minimal downtime. You will diagnose routine issues, assist with preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement efforts.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and skill development through the VMC Progression program, with opportunities for growth in a climate-controlled, high-tech production environment.

Qualifications

• Twelve to twenty-four months experience in a printing or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to read and analyze technical documents
• Ability to apply basic math concepts
• General knowledge of Windows Office
• Ability to lift/move up to 40#
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to climb ladders and consistently work at varying heights
• Work in a noisy area using hearing protection.

Responsibilities

• Operates Press Systems equipment to meet production goals with minimal downtime.
• Diagnoses and repairs routine equipment issues with guidance; communicates issues to senior techs.
• Supports Sr. Process Technician and provides back-up to press operations as needed.
• Promotes safety, housekeeping, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the cell.
• Participates in the VMC Progression program to advance process technician skills.
• Maintains mandatory skills and follows safe work practices.
