Job summary

Prisma is seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join our production team in Austin, TX. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot our digital press equipment to produce high-quality printed products that meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial print production environment. Prior experience with Xerox/Ricoh digital presses is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating and maintaining digital printing equipment.
• Knowledge of digital printing processes and color accuracy.
• Basic math skills and ability to enter production data.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Xerox and Ricoh digital press equipment.
• Read job tickets to determine setup specifications and production requirements.
• Set up print jobs using proper setup techniques.
• Inspect equipment before and after each production run.
• Monitor product quality, including print accuracy, size, warp, and overall appearance.
• Maximize machine productivity while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Report equipment issues and submit maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
