Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Managing Editor to lead and grow our newsroom. This role guides the content team’s daily programming, requiring solid news judgment, the ability to decide how stories should be treated, and confidence in coordinating many editorial actions.

As the newsroom's hands-on manager, you mentor reporters and editors, direct deployment of resources online, on mobile, in email, print and on social, and drive digital excellence across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a top leadership role.
• Understand changing media landscape; develop strategies.
• Able to exceed expectations in a results-oriented environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have experience with InDesign and similar platforms if applicable.
• Experience in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must have experience using Teams, Webex, Zoom, or related communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee content from conception to publishing across platforms.
• Direct deployment of resources online, mobile, email, print and social.
• As the newsroom's hands-on manager, coach reporters and editors.
• Motivate and guide staff to produce compelling stories.
• Keep the newsroom organized, on time and on the rails.
• Embrace growth and change while serving the audience.
