Qualifications

  • Experience in working with complex data or documents, carefully examining details, and verifying information for completeness or correctness.

  • Demonstrated willingness to take on new responsibilities, tasks, and projects demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Product Merchandising & Category Placement: Oversee the organization and presentation of products to meet sales and merchandising goals, ensuring engaging and intuitive customer experience.
  • Content Accuracy: Ensure all product information across the website is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze KPIs, preparing weekly and ad‑hoc reports to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Competitive Research: Regularly review competitor websites to evaluate merchandising tactics, promotional strategies, and product presentation, translating insights into actionable online initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—marketing, IT, buying, and others to align on merchandising strategies and optimize the online shopping experience.
  • Vendor Relations: Maintain professional communication with external vendors to acquire missing product information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Research industry trends and customer preferences to identify potential product offerings and digital experiences to ensure Rural King remains competitive in the online space.
  • SEO & Tagging Support: Assist in optimizing product listings for search engines and support accurate tagging to enhance discoverability.
  • Have discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

What You’ll do

The pay range for this position is $60,500 - $72,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
