North Coast Media in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to manage our daily digital presence across websites, social channels, and newsletters. This hands-on role blends writing, publishing, video production, and live event coverage for one of our B2B brands.

The right candidate will be a strong writer and editor who thrives under deadlines, can edit video content, and collaborate with editorial, marketing, and audience development teams to grow reach and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, digital media, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital publishing, journalism, content creation, or social media preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Experience with website CMS platforms and social media management.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Buffer, Omeda, and Final Cut Pro preferred.
• Experience with video editing and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, analytics, and email marketing.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and travel domestically approximately four times per year for multi-day events.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish at least three news posts daily across website and social media channels.
• Upload, format, and schedule approximately 25 feature articles and digital files each month from the print issue.
• Manage and engage with social media audiences across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and other platforms.
• Build, test, and deploy a weekly newsletter, including link testing and subject line optimization.
• Edit video content, including interviews, product footage, and promotional clips.
• Provide live social media, photo, and video coverage at approximately four industry trade shows per year.
• Monitor digital and social analytics to identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and audience development teams to expand content across digital channels.
