Job summary
Helping Hand is seeking a Digital Media & Podcast Intern to help bring our stories to life through hands-on podcasting, video production, and digital content creation. You will contribute to every stage of the production process, from idea development and guest coordination to recording, editing, publishing, and promotion.
You will support both the Helping Hand Podcast and the Connection Crew Podcast, amplifying voices of the people we serve.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of aBachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Broadcasting, Graphic Design, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Produce four podcast episodes per month in video and audio formats, including educational and client-led episodes.
- Set up, test, and operate cameras, microphones, lighting, soundboards and other AV equipment.
- Develop an annual podcast content calendar and coordinate guests and recording schedules.
- Support episodes, speaking engagements, and presentations featuring the Helping Hand Connection Crew.
- Identify media opportunities that promote Helping Hand's programs and impact.
