Job summary

Red Moon Marketing, LLC invites a Digital Marketing Intern to join our hybrid Charlotte team for a 10-week paid spring internship. You will support paid social, search, and programmatic campaigns, learn to analyze data, and build portfolio pieces with Canva and Google Ads under senior supervision.

The role emphasizes curiosity, organization, communication, and collaboration, with hands-on exposure to client work and real-world marketing strategies for national brands.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Interest in digital marketing and a foundational understanding of the media landscape.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort using Excel to analyze data, create charts and pivot tables, and use formulas such as VLOOKUP and CONCATENATE.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, and comfort using Canva and similar design tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization across paid social, paid search, and programmatic platforms, including Google Ads, The Trade Desk, and Yahoo DSP, under the guidance of the digital team.
• Analyze campaign data, identify performance trends, and help develop recommendations to improve results.
• Draft basic advertising copy and create or adapt simple creative assets using tools such as Canva.
• Prepare internal and client-facing presentations, campaign reports, and project updates.
• Attend team, agency, and client meetings; document discussions, decisions, and follow-up tasks.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and collaborate with account supervisors and internal teams to bring those ideas to life.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues, client teams, media representatives, and vendors.
• Research advertising trends, media strategies, ad networks, and emerging digital tools; share relevant ideas with the team.
• Support experiential marketing events on occasion and travel as needed for assigned projects.
