Job summary

Corning’s Optical Communications division seeks a Digital Marketing Intern to support omni-channel campaigns, craft digital stories via email and social channels, and build our content plan. You’ll document best practices and help streamline processes across marketing programs while gaining hands-on experience with analytics and optimization.

You’ll work on SEO, email marketing, and social media initiatives, with opportunities to present your final project and contribute to meaningful campaigns

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Experience with digital platforms such as SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Social Media Management, Marketing Automation and Content Management platforms is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for external and internal customers.
• Analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work for 10 weeks in Summer 2027 and onsite at the posted location.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the customer journey on web properties to define and implement a content plan to drive engagement and leads.
• Perform keyword research, on-page optimization, and manage search ads to capture traffic from SERPs.
• Support social media programs and document best practices and templates.
• Collaborate to develop email communications and document best practices for campaigns.
• Review data, research industry practices, and propose improvements to the digital buying journey.
• Contribute to additional strategic marketing initiatives as they arise.
