Job summary

The Ponca City Development Authority is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to monitor and update client social media platforms, manage website updates, and support general office tasks in-person in Ponca City, OK.

You will track KPI data, communicate performance to leadership, collaborate with the design team on campaigns, optimize web content for SEO, and help with customer interactions and help desk reporting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ year in social media coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred
• 1+ years’ experience as social media coordinator or related role
• Experience working with web design and publisher helpful
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic data required

Responsibilities

• Oversees social media campaign schedules and pulling KPI data to determine media success
• Understand KPIs and communicate performance to President/CEO
• Collaborate with other design team members to provide attractive and effective campaigns
• Monitor all social media sites and content
• Keep up with social media technologies used in social media
• Understand and use media marketing tools as required
• Do outside sales to potential clients as needed
• Track customer engagement
• Position requires multitasking
• Assist with entering and tracking help desk reporting
• Must be able to use critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Update customers web page design/updates/edits and publishing as needed
• Answer calls and greet customers
• Position requires the good communication and written skills
• Assist with general office administrative duties
• Regular and sustained attendance
• Other duties as may be assigned

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must have good close range vision
