Job Summary

The Digital Learning Specialist will support the design, adaptation, production, implementation, and quality assurance of digital and blended professional learning for teachers, supervisors, and other education professionals under the ASAS In-Service component. Reporting to the In-Service Training Manager, the Specialist will help translate approved training content into accessible, engaging digital learning experiences; support LMS course configuration, SCORM packaging and testing, online delivery, learner guidance, and user support; and coordinate improvements with Ministry counterparts, instructional partners, and IREX teams. What You’ll Do

  • Digital Learning Design and Production: Adapt approved training curricula and materials into online lessons, storyboards, interactive activities, assignments, and assessments. Check Arabic display, mobile usability, accessibility, multimedia, links, and performance across devices, browsers, and connectivity conditions; document defects and coordinate fixes.
  • Blended Delivery and Learner Support: Support virtual and blended courses through scheduling, session setup, learner orientation, digital assignments, facilitator resources, bilingual user guidance, and practical troubleshooting for teachers, supervisors, trainers, and administrators.
  • Partner Coordination and Continuous Improvement: Work with MoEHRD teams, Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), content partners, platform administrators, MEL, and IREX colleagues. Review partner-produced learning assets against agreed specifications; maintain issue and decision logs; monitor participation and completion trends; and recommend improvements while respecting content-owner approval responsibilities.
  • Responsible Innovation, Compliance, and Handover: Support assigned pilots of digital and AI-enabled teacher-learning tools through usability testing, safe-use guidance, and human review of AI-generated content. Maintain source approvals, file versions, test and release records, and handover materials; follow learner-data protection, accessibility, copyright, safeguarding, and approved AI-use requirements.
