The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in digital imaging, strong Photoshop skills, and meticulous attention to detail to meet strict standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in digital imaging, prepress, or production imaging.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including color correction and retouching.
• Working knowledge of color management fundamentals (ICC profiles, RGB/CMYK).
• Experience preparing production-ready files for print (resolution, bleed, file structure).
• Ability to handle original artwork with care and follow handling protocols.
• High attention to detail and consistency in high-volume workflows.
• Strong organizational discipline in file naming, version control, and asset management.
• Ability to work independently within established SOPs and accept technical feedback.

Responsibilities

• Operate high‑resolution scanning and capture equipment per standard work.
• Verify capture resolution, focus, illumination, and color references; recapture if needed.
• Identify outliers and escalate to Imaging Lead as appropriate.
• Perform production color correction and tonal adjustments against references.
• Clean up defects without altering the original character.
• Build production and derivative files with sizing, bleed, and color profiles.
• Verify files meet printer and RIP requirements prior to review.
• Run proofs, record results, and route color-critical evaluations to the Imaging Lead.
• Conduct QC checks for resolution, artifacts, and color accuracy; escalate non-standard issues.
• Document adjustments to preserve traceability and version integrity.
• Maintain file naming conventions, version control, tagging, and metadata.
• Record work in project tracking tools and communicate queue status.
• Follow workflows and standard work; suggest improvements to the Imaging Lead.
• Prioritize high-volume assignments with accuracy and speed.
• Develop capture, profiling, and color matching capabilities under guidance.
• Adhere to safe material-handling and studio-safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned within training and qualifications.
