Job summary

OPB is seeking a Digital Fundraising Coordinator to expand team capacity by building email automations, welcome series, and complex digital campaigns. You will manage online giving forms, landing pages, and audience segmentation, while coordinating with development, membership, marketing, and external partners.

The role requires 2–5 years in marketing/fundraising, familiarity with marketing platforms (RedPoint, SFMC, Campaign Monitor), and strong writing as well as HTML/CSS skills.

Qualifications

  • Two to 5 years of experience in a marketing, membership, or fundraising role.
  • Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation tools (RedPoint, SendGrid, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize a CRM and data to identify and build audiences and evaluate campaigns, programs and procedures to inform decision-making.
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics or other business intelligence tools and experience generating standard reports.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and ability to troubleshoot issues in a content builder.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and departments to meet fundraising goals.
  • Writing and copy-editing skills.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

This role is designed to expand team capacity by coordinating and executing complex multi-faceted projects including building new email automations and welcome series, managing the team's robust testing program, and building new digital funnels for membership growth. This position will be trained on all core responsibilities of the Digital Fundraising Coordinator and will support the team as a resource for day-to-day operations as well. This new role is a perfect opportunity for a digital marketing professional interested in learning and growing at OPB. This role is a full-time role that is eligible for full benefits.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and building email campaigns with complex list segmentation, email tests, and automations. Also, creating and updating giving forms (currently more than 100 active forms), crafting new landing pages and web elements, supporting paid social campaigns, and troubleshooting and optimization efforts. A significant portion of the role involves managing and maintaining automated fundraising and engagement programs, requiring strong technical proficiency and attention to detail. The position will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying technical campaign workflows that run continuously and support donor engagement objectives.

Position Summary:


Working with the development,membership,marketing,anddigital content teamsas well asexternal vendors,this position coordinates strategic digital communications to members, sustainers, and prospectsthroughemail, OPB’s website,and social platforms. The Digital Fundraising Coordinator, Special Projectsis responsible for building emails,automations,andaudience segmentations.Coordinating theimplementation of OPB’s digital testing program,reportingcampaign results, andensuring OPB can effectively and accurately communicate and engage with our audiences.This role supportsdaily operationsas well as researching and buildingcomplexmulti-channeldigital fundraisingprojects.

Areas of Responsibility:

50% Implementemail fundraising, prospecting, and cultivationcampaigns.

  • Supporttheproduction of regularly scheduled emails including newsletters, member communications, solicitation and cultivation emails, updating and building audiencesegments,and creating and updated email content as required.
  • Managethe development and production ofnewdigitaleffortssuch asprospectwelcome series,member cultivation series,reengagement efforts, newautomations,andspecial standalone communications.
  • Coordinatewithdevelopment,membership,marketing and digitalcontentteams on the production of email communications,gathering image and copyassets, identifying audiences,managingtheproofing process,creating and sending emails, and providing reports on results.
  • Produce,refineand distributedetailed analysis reports on emailand other digitalefforts to drive futurefundraisingstrategies.
  • Workwith the team to define emailsolicitation and testingstrategiesandassist in the implementation of tests andreportresults.
  • Collaborate with the Development Operations team tobuild, test, andtroubleshootspecialprojects.

30% Create and updateonline givingforms, campaign landing pages and other assets required to supportdigitalcampaigns.

  • Coordinate the production of assets as required to support digital campaigns, ensuring images, copy, links, etc.are all ready in time for campaign launch.
  • Manageand updateonlinecontribution formstosupportfundraising efforts on all channels, ensuring content is appropriate and updated, data is accurate, and forms areclearly namedand organized.
  • Update campaign landing pagesand web elementson OPB.orgas appropriate for new campaigns, create new pages when required,andtrackresults toensure effectiveness.
  • Produce and refine detailedanalysis ofreports on digital efforts to drive future fundraising strategies.
  • Work with the teamand external vendorstoexecuteand troubleshootdigitalsolicitation and testing strategies, assist with production work required to support testing strategies,and report back ontestresults.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities toimplement new features or platforms for online giving andassist with theevaluationandimplementation of those tools.

20% Coordinate back-end processes thatsupportdonationandproject management.

  • Update copy and code on forms to support OPB’s membership program.
  • Support with project management of digital fundraising campaigns, workingcollaboratively across teamsand externally.
  • Monitor and refineback-endautomationsrelated toformmanagement, data,and audiencesegmentation,ensuring timely and accurateupdatesas required to supportnew email properties or strategicinitiatives.
  • Assist withefforts to supportemaildeliverability and reputation management, includingdatahygiene,monitoring of KPIs related to deliverability,and researching and troubleshooting deliverability issues.
Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid role with most work done remotely and occasional onsite work required. Most work takes place during regularhours butmay require mornings and evenings when needed.

  • The probable hiring range for this non-exempt, unrepresented position is between $28.17 - 29.30 / hour, depending on qualifications.
