Job summary

Lighthouse Document Technologies Inc. seeks a Digital Forensics Consultant to perform on-site and remote collections of ESI from computers, mobile devices, and cloud sources. You will analyze data for investigations and prepare detailed reports and declarations.

You may provide court testimony and assist with project scoping, timelines, and cost estimates while delivering timely status updates and accurate data logs. Travel 10–30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
• 4+ years in Digital Forensics consulting and client service.
• Ability to describe complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Security or digital forensics certifications such as CISSP, EnCE, CCE, CFCE, MCFE.
• Experience with Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android forensics.
• Experience with cloud/enterprise data repositories (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with tools: Axiom, EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Graykey, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote collections of ESI from diverse sources.
• Conduct forensic analysis of data to support investigations/litigation.
• Prepare detailed forensic reports, declarations, and related correspondence.
• Provide written and/or oral testimony in court when needed.
• Assist with scoping projects, estimating timelines and costs.
• Provide ongoing project status updates and logging of data collections.
• Conduct custodian interviews to identify data sources.
• Enter time and expenses into billing systems by deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
