Job summary

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in forensic science, criminal justice, biology or chemistry, plus experience in forensic or evidence handling, and proficiency with MS Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forensic science, criminal justice, biology, chemistry or closely related field.
• Two years of experience in a forensic, crime scene, or evidence-handling environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, RMS, and digital asset management systems.
• NIBIN certification or ability to train and obtain NIBIN certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Coreforce database for digital crime scene evidence.
• Fulfill digital evidence requests for internal and external agencies.
• Perform data entry and upload of ballistic information into NIBIN.
• Maintain accurate chain of custody records and evidentiary protocols.
