Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Digital Forensic Examiner (Several Levels) to conduct forensic examinations of digital and multimedia evidence, analyze artifacts, maintain evidence integrity, and prepare technically accurate forensic reports for investigations and legal proceedings. The role requires active security clearance and experience with EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, and related tools.

You will support expert-witness activities, QA programs, and laboratory metrics while collaborating

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required; Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Forensics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or related field; four years of hands-on digital-forensics experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examinations of digital and multimedia evidence across devices and data sources.
• Use EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, and other approved tools to analyze devices.
• Prepare complete forensic reports and maintain chain-of-custody documentation.
• Validate tools, document results, and develop scripts with version-control practices.
• Support expert-witness preparation, affidavits, warrants, and testimony when designated.
• Contribute to QA, SOPs, audits, and laboratory metrics.
