Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Fort Bragg, NC, seeks a Digital Forensic Examiner to join our Forensics Team. You will collect and analyze CEM across devices and generate reports to support national security missions.

You will coordinate exploitation operations, conduct data acquisition from computers, mobile devices, GPS, and other media in a forensically sound manner, and provide timely findings to intelligence requirements.

Qualifications

• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
• Experience with Computer and Mobile Device Forensics.
• Experience with forensic software and tools, including Magnet Axiom, Cellebrite Premium, UFED, Inseyets Physical Analyzer, MSAB XRY, Oxygen Forensic Detective, GrayKey, X-Ways, Tableau or Falcon write blockers and stand-alone imagers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Digital Forensics Examiner in the collection and processing of CEM, ensuring triage and technical exploitation.
• Work independently in isolated environments and respond to technical requirements regarding computer, mobile device, and biometric forensic exploitation.

The Opportunity

CACI has an exciting job opportunity for a Digital Forensics Systems Engineer located at Ft. Bragg, NC in beautiful Fayetteville, North Carolina. We invite you to join our Forensics Team at Ft. Bragg, N.C., home of the Airborne and Special Forces. As part of our forensics team, you will provide direct support to Special Operations and have a direct impact on current and future operations. Relocation is available to out-of-state candidates.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as the Digital Forensics Examiner in the collection and processing of Collected Exploitable Material (CEM), ensuring triage and technical exploitation occurs in accordance with organizational intelligence requirements. The Examiner will work independently in isolated environments, respond to technical requirements regarding computer, mobile device, and biometric forensic exploitation, generate reports, and respond to analytical requirements. The Examiner will coordinate, manage, and synchronize technical exploitation operations to ensure effectiveness, conduct data acquisition of a wide variety of multimedia devices—computers, hard drives, thumb drives, SD cards, GPS, CD/DVD, DVR, mobile devices, and unmanned aerial vehicles—in a forensically sound manner. The Examiner must provide timely and accurate information to meet intelligence requirements and report on data recovered from CEM.

• Travel within the Continental United States for training venues, research and development, evaluating and recommending technologies and techniques, creating and maintaining documentation for all processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with forensic software and tools, including Magnet Axiom, Cellebrite Premium, UFED, Inseyets Physical Analyzer, MSAB XRY, Oxygen Forensic Detective, GrayKey, X-Ways, Tableau or Falcon write blockers and stand-alone imagers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Desired

• Bachelor's Degree and/or quantifiable experience within the Department of Defense, Law Enforcement, Commercial Vendor, or equivalent Government agencies.
• GIAC or IACIS certifications are considered a significant benefit.
