Job summary

KODA Technologies is seeking a Digital Engineering Subject Matter Expert to provide strategic-level digital engineering expertise for defense and space programs. The role focuses on developing strategies, roadmaps, and an integrated engineering environment to improve data sharing and systems engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Modeling and Simulation.
• Experience with Army missile and aviation programs, the Missile Defense Agency, and NASA.
• Demonstrated experience supporting successful digital engineering efforts.
• MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital engineering strategies for major acquisition programs using system engineering principles.
• Create detailed phased roadmaps and master schedules for digital engineering initiatives.
• Incorporate full life cycle engineering into the digital engineering roadmap, including requirements traceability, modeling, testing, and sustainment.
• Lead as a technical architect fostering an integrated digital engineering environment for defense or space programs.

Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a Digital Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME)to provide strategic-level digital engineering expertise and implementation for defense or space programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizing strong system engineering principles and expertise, develop digital engineering strategies for major acquisition programs.
• Develop detailed and phased digital engineering implementation roadmaps and master schedules with defined milestones.
• Incorporate full life cycle engineering into the digital engineering roadmap to include requirements analysis and traceability; modeling and simulation objectives; test planning and execution; and sustainment.
• Serve as a key technical leader in architecting an integrated digital engineering environment that promotes efficiency, data sharing and strong systems engineering processes in support of defense or space programs.

Required Qualifications:

• 20+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Modeling and Simulation
• Experience with Army missile and aviation programs, the Missile Defense Agency, and NASA
• Demonstrated experience supporting successful digital engineering efforts
• MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM discipline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry recognized certification(s)
• Publications and/or presentations at national conferences
