The Digital Engineering position is responsible for supporting the research, design, development, integration, and testing of advanced aerospace and engineering systems through the application of digital engineering tools, models, and processes. This role contributes to the development and lifecycle management of aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, satellites, and related systems by integrating digital technologies to support system design, analysis, verification, and performance optimization. Responsibilities may include supporting subsystem integration activities involving power, communications, thermal control, guidance, and other critical aerospace functions while ensuring alignment with technical and program requirements. This role works to achieve key project and program objectives while managing projects or processes that span multiple technical disciplines. The Digital Engineering professional develops innovative solutions to complex technical challenges impacting multiple systems or operational areas and applies advanced analytical and engineering methods to improve system performance, integration, and lifecycle efficiency. The position requires strong collaboration across engineering and program teams, along with creativity and technical expertise to develop and implement effective digital engineering solutions that support mission and organizational goals.
