You will develop automation to reduce manual work, create runbooks, analyze releases for risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and CI/CD improvements.

The Digital Development Engineer will establish and mature SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, and alerting for applications The right candidate will participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, stabilization, root-cause analysis, and MTTR improvement **What you will do*** Develop automation to reduce manual operational work and improve reliability* Create and maintain operational standards, procedures, and runbooks* Analyze major releases and production changes for potential availability and reliability risks* Identify application dependencies and potential failure points across distributed systems* Develop and implement resiliency and testing strategies for applications and infrastructure* Partner with application, platform, infrastructure, and business teams to drive reliability improvements* Contribute to CI/CD and automation workflows that enable reliable software delivery* Help drive SRE principles and reliability practices across engineering teams**Required Qualifications*** 5+ years experience in software engineering & backend development* Experience with Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js/TypeScript* Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies* Experience with Kubernetes / containerized environments* Experience with REST APIs and microservices* CI/CD and deployment automation* New Relic or similar observability/APM technology* Splunk / centralized logging* Distributed-system troubleshooting**Preferred Qualifications*** Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills* Automation/scripting* Messaging/queue technologies such as Kafka* Production incident management and RCA* Monitoring, alerting, SLIs and SLOs**Education*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)**Anticipated Weekly Hours**40**Time Type**Full time**Pay Range**The typical pay range for this role is:$83,430.00 - $166,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
