Arrowhead Dental Laboratory in Sandy, UT is seeking a skilled Digital Removables Designer to join our dental technology team. You will create precise removable appliance designs using CAD/CAM tools to ensure fit, function, and aesthetics for patients.

You will design removable dentures with 3Shape, set up Carbon 3D prints, scan models, and print physical prototypes while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3+ years in a removable dental lab environment.
• Experience designing removable dental prosthetics with CAD/CAM tools.
• Working knowledge of dental morphology, occlusion, and fabrication processes.
• Comfort with implant systems and prosthodontics is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data translation into digital designs.
• Effective communication with dental lab team on cases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the lab team to interpret clinical data and patient requirements.
• Design removable dentures and appliances using 3Shape.
• Set up 3D print jobs on Carbon printers.
• Scan physical models and dentures.
• Create/print physical models using 3Shape and Meshmixer.
• Cure, seat, and label appliances.
• Print denture bases and bond teeth to bases.
• Quality-check digital removable cases before finishing.
• Oversee digital backstock and submit supply orders.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records for each case.
• Stay updated on CAD/CAM tech and digital dentistry trends.
