Job summary

Benco Dental, a leading privately owned dental distributor, seeks a Per Diem Digital Dentistry Technology Trainer to educate dental offices on CAD/CAM solutions and digital imaging. The role combines in-office training with remote guidance, up to 20 hours per week, and requires travel to support in-office sessions.

Location considerations include Midwest or Northeast regions, with potential travel to a major airport hub.

Qualifications

• Clinical dental experience in a dental office is required or highly preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology and digital imaging tools is essential.
• Familiarity with digital x-ray equipment, including capturing and enhancing images.
• Basic understanding of imaging software and impression taking processes.
• Basic dental anatomy knowledge and understanding of procedures.
• Basic knowledge of lab work and materials used for restorations.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation and training on digital imaging and Oneview product use.
• Train staff on image enhancement tools and CAD/CAM workflow integration.
• Instruct on preparation, scanning, fabrication, milling and placement of restorations with CAD/CAM.
• Flexibility to accommodate customer schedules.
• Follow established training protocols.

Position Summary:

This per diem position is clinical in-office and remote training of digital dentistry CAD/CAM solutions. This position is responsible for training the dental office on the product after the sale. As a per diem role, work hours will not exceed 20 per week.

Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?

• Clinical experience working in a dental office
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM Technology
• Knowledge of Digital x-ray equipment which should include capturing and enhancing x-rays.
• Basic understanding of imaging software
• Basic understanding of tooth preparation for impression taking
• Basic Understand of Dental Anatomy and procedures
• Basic understanding of impression taking
• Basic knowledge of lab work
• Basic understanding of materials used for placement of restorations

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Provide orientation and training of all procedures related to digital imaging, i.e. capture and enhancement for the Oneview product. This includes using sensor aiming devices, related placement aids, and adjustment of radiation exposure.
• Training staff on the image enhancement tools within Oneview (digital xray imaging software), digital workflow of the CAD/CAM process and integration into the office.
• CAD/CAM responsibilities include training dental team on preparation of restorative site, scanning site, software fabrication of restorations, milling of restoration, placement of restoration, and final adjustment of restoration.
• Flexibility is required to accommodate customer's schedules.
• Ability to follow strict training protocol.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• 1-3 years of Clinical Dental experience with a minimum of 1 year and/or minimum 2 years CAD/CAM training
• 1-3 years of scanner, 3D printing, design software, and milling equipment
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred
• Registered Dental Hygienist preferred
• Must be available to travel on an as needed basis to support in office training requests
