Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders with fast, accurate service and a friendly customer experience. You will help drive loyalty by ensuring smooth pickup from start to finish and by maintaining a courteous demeanor with customers in-person and via phone.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in retail or cashier roles, with a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach are essential.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to systems.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience is preferred.
• Past cashier experience is preferred and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside pickup service with accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and over the phone.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members, store leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by coordinating with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
