WHYY in Philadelphia is seeking an Associate Producer, Digital to execute our digital strategy across video, audio, text, images and multimedia. The role partners closely with the content production and digital news teams to keep WHYY.org front doors current and engaging.

Education: College degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 1 year+ in digital media or related role.
Ability to write, edit and proof-read quality content; proficient with computers and new tools.
CMS experience, preferably Wordpress; basic HTML/CSS knowledge; media editing familiarity.
Knowledge of SEO, accessibility best practices, and analytics tools (GA).

Responsibilities

Monitor and update WHYY.org homepage and front doors.
Update WHYY.org media files and metadata (audio/video).
Refresh program and podcast content; manage ancillary WHYY properties like watch.whyy.org.
Oversee select third-party platforms, such as YouTube.
Collaborate with content production and digital news teams to execute digital strategy.
