Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. seeks a Digital Streaming Content Producer/Host to grow our digital and CTV platforms. You will craft journalistically sound storytelling for our website, apps, social channels, and CTV channel.

You will produce stories/segments, host live digital productions, and help expand our audiences across multiple platforms with strong editorial judgment and SEO familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with OBS Studio, vMix, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Portfolio of live, published digital content

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit video content using OBS Studio, vMix, and other tools
• Research and analyze details to provide complete, accurate stories
• Arrange interviews for exclusive CTV shows when needed
• Produces and presents reports on all platforms
• Launch creative, compelling daily content for viewers on mobile, desktop, and connected TV
• Be able to self-direct a show through OBS Studio, vMix
• Set up and coordinate guests for in-studio or remote appearances
• Plan content for each day
• Keep up to date with local, state, national, and world news
• Write, edits stories for the web and other digital platforms/channels

Position: Digital Content Producer

Reports To: Digital Content Executive Producer

PURPOSE/REASON FOR THE POSITION:

KFOR is looking for a Digital Streaming Content Producer/Host to grow our digital and CTV platforms. This role is unique and will involve crafting solid, journalistically sound storytelling to engage our audiences across our website, apps, social media channels, and our CTV channel.

We are looking for a content creator willing to produce stories/segments and host one or more live digital productions to expand our audiences.

Experience:

• Produce, edit video content using OBS Studio, vMix, and other tools
• Ensure all content meets high standards of journalistic integrity and production quality
• Research and analyze details to provide complete, accurate stories
• Arrange interviews with people for exclusive CTV shows when needed
• Produces and presents reports on all platforms
• Launch creative, compelling daily content for viewers on mobile, desktop, and connected TV
• Be able to self-direct a show through OBS Studio, vMix
• Set up and coordinate guests for in-studio or remote appearances
• Plan content for each day
• Keep up to date with local, state, national, and world news
• Write, edits stories for the web and other digital platforms/channels

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to ad lib when required
• Proficiency in OBS Studio, vMix, and Adobe Creative Cloud, with live TV production knowledge
• Portfolio of live, published web samples and/or print work
• Strong interest in local news, sports, storytelling, and growing digital audiences
• Excellent editorial judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SEO and social media content strategies
