Job summary

WGXA is seeking a creative Social Media/Digital Producer to create content for all platforms and work closely with the Digital Executive Producer and Assignment desk.

You will generate and write stories and develop stories/videos for multiple platforms, contributing to fast-paced newsroom operations and meeting deadlines.

Job description

WGXA has an immediate opening for a creative Social Media/Digital Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for content creation on all platforms. This position will also work closely with the Digital Executive Producer and Assignment desk on content. In this position you will generate and write stories and develop stories/videos for our many platforms.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Solid news judgment

Experience

• Previous experience in a newsroom is preferred
• A journalism degree is preferred
