Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Specialist - Digital Content to manage day-to-day digital publishing and distribution workflows across owned and partner platforms. You will package content, create metadata, publish, QA, and support operations to ensure accurate, discoverable delivery across destinations.

You will work across the Schwab Network ecosystem, handling CMS updates, SEO optimization, and collaboration with teams for newsletters, podcasts, and videos.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in digital publishing, content operations, or digital media.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, YouTube Studio, podcast platforms, and digital publishing tools.
• Strong writing and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Publish digital content across website, YouTube, podcasts, newsletters, and other channels.
• Create and optimize titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, thumbnails, and metadata.
• Assist with homepage updates, content categorization, taxonomy, and asset management.
• Review content for formatting, metadata accuracy, broken links, and platform-specific requirements.
• Support cross-platform publishing initiatives and daily publishing workflows.
• Identify workflow efficiencies and support tool implementations.

Your opportunity

The Senior Specialist - Digital Content supports the day-to-day execution of Schwab Network's digital publishing and distribution workflows across owned and partner platforms. This role is responsible for content packaging, metadata creation, publishing, quality assurance, and operational support to ensure content is accurately distributed, discoverable, and optimized for each destination.

This role provides flexible operational support across the organization’s entire digital ecosystem. List channel here:

Primary Responsibilities

• Content Publishing
  • Publish digital content across the website, YouTube, podcast platforms, newsletters, and additional distribution channels.
  • Execute publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.
• Metadata & Content Packaging
  • Create and optimize titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, thumbnails, and related metadata.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve publishing efficiency while maintaining editorial quality.
  • Ensure metadata follows SEO and platform best practices.
• Content Operations
  • Assist with homepage updates, content categorization, taxonomy, and asset management.
  • Support podcast publishing and distribution workflows.
  • Maintain content organization and quality across CMS platforms.
• Quality Assurance
  • Review published content for formatting, metadata accuracy, broken links, artwork, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Identify and resolve publishing issues before distribution.
• Workflow Support
  • Support recurring publishing operations for newsletters and digital products.
  • Assist with cross-platform publishing initiatives.
  • Provide operational coverage across multiple digital channels based on business priorities.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify workflow efficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Support implementation of new publishing tools and technologies.
  • Contribute to documentation and operational best practices.

What you have

• 5 years of experience in digital publishing, content operations, or digital media.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, YouTube Studio, podcast platforms, and digital publishing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO and metadata optimization.
• Strong writing skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted writing tools is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
