Job description

Title: Digital Commerce Marketplace Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports To: Director Marketing & Insights

Department: Marketing

Location: Waukegan, IL with hybrid options

Job Summary

Woodland Gourmet is seeking a Digital Commerce Marketplace Manager to own our customer's digital journey—understanding how customers discover, evaluate, and buy from us, and building the technologies, tools, and processes that make every touchpoint seamless.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role. You will map and own the end-to-end customer journey across all digital touchpoints—our website, customer portal, B2B/B2C eCommerce platform, Amazon, direct ship platform, LinkedIn, and more—setting the vision and standards for how customers experience Woodland Gourmet online.

You will develop and execute the tech stack, tools, and strategies that maximize revenue, enhance customer experience and engagement, and streamline every step of the journey—partnering closely with marketing, IT, and customer service to deliver a seamless, cohesive experience from first discovery through purchase and beyond. By leveraging data analytics and consumer insights, you'll shape decisions on product offerings, pricing, and promotions that drive growth and profitability.

You'll bring both strategic judgment and a builder's instinct—equally comfortable identifying the right platforms, managing implementation, and setting a multi-year platform roadmap as you are rolling up your sleeves to fix a broken listing, backed by clean data and a modern, AI-enabled approach to how work gets done.
