Job summary

PwC South Africa is seeking an Associate for Digital Assurance and Transparency focused on Generative AI within our Assurance practice in Rosemont, IL. You will learn and contribute to client engagements, applying AI and data analytics to deliver innovative solutions that build trust and support decision making.

Responsibilities include AI-powered contact center solutions, model deployment with Azure and Vertex AI, data analysis, LangChain and LLM APIs, and prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, AI and Robotics, Applied Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA overall.
• Entry-level for client service associate roles, with final academic year in progress or completed.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing AI-powered contact center solutions.
• Utilizing Azure AI Services and Google Vertex AI to deploy and manage AI models.
• Applying data science techniques to analyze complex datasets and generate insights.
• Collaborating with teams to integrate ML and NLP into client projects.
• Engaging in prompt engineering to optimize language model outputs.
• Leveraging Python to build AI-driven applications.
• Conducting LLM evaluation to assess model performance and safety compliance.
• Implementing LLMOps to monitor and govern large language models in production.

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Client service associate positions are entry‑level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements

Salary

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $104,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
