Job summary

PwC's Assurance practice in San Francisco is offering a Data Intern role designed to expose you to PwC’s methodologies while supporting client initiatives. You will learn about ERP security, IT controls, and ESG reporting while assisting teams on technology-enabled solutions that build trust and transparency.

As an Intern, you will observe and learn from experienced auditors, perform basic research, and contribute to projects that deepen your understanding of financial reporting and risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Client service intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teams in delivering technology-enabled solutions focused on trust and transparency.
• Participating in projects related to ERP security, IT general controls, and ESG reporting.
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain confidence in financial reporting and decision-making.
• Conducting basic tasks and research to uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills.
• Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns.
• Assisting in the evaluation and assessment of internal control systems to mitigate risks and promote operational efficiency.
• Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to optimize performance and enhance user experience.
