Job summary

PwC Boston is seeking a DAT - Intern in our Assurance practice to gain hands-on exposure to digital assurance and audit methodologies while supporting client-facing teams on projects that improve transparency in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state, or eligible for CISA licensure.
• Intern roles are entry-level; typically in the third or fourth year of study.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
• Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting processes
• Assisting in the preparation and review of audit documentation and reports
• Engaging in basic research tasks to support audit findings and recommendations
• Applying cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management
• Collaborating with team members to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
• Utilizing artificial intelligence platforms to streamline audit procedures and improve efficiency
• Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions
• Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional development
