Job summary

PwC's Columbus office is seeking an Intern in our Assurance practice. You will join the DAT internship, work with audit teams on digital assurance tasks, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to projects while developing professional skills.

You will support teams, observe audits, assist with research, and help with AI platform testing and data analysis. Travel up to 20% and a pathway toward CPA or CISA licensure.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting and compliance
• Assisting in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance the accuracy and reliability of assessments
• Engaging in basic research to support audit processes and decision-making
• Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit purposes
• Contributing to the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks
• Collaborating with team members to address compliance and governance challenges
• Applying cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management
• Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions
• Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve performance and understanding of audit practices
