A specialized consulting firm is looking for a full-time Digital Asset Librarian to manage and optimize their Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This remote role requires expertise in metadata tagging, version control, and asset governance to ensure assets are discoverable and compliant. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in library science and strong organizational skills. Compensation ranges from $120,000-$130,000 per year, with benefits including life insurance and a retirement plan.
PharmIntell is currently recruiting for a full-time Digital Asset Librarian (DAM) Librarian role. This position will support a PharmIntell client in the pharmaceutical sector. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset Librarian to manage, organize, and maintain a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will ensure assets are discoverable, current, rights-compliant, and properly governed through review and publishing workflows. This role is central to keeping the Client’s medical communications teams productive and compliant when using content assets.
This position is remote (work from home). Our Client requires support during US East Coast business hours (8 am to 6 pm US Eastern Time).

Master\'s Degree in library or information science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution
Proven experience managing a DAM system or similar centralized asset repository.
Strong metadata and taxonomy knowledge: ability to design and apply consistent tagging schemas and controlled vocabularies.
Experience implementing and enforcing version control processes for digital assets.
Knowledge of intellectual property, licensing, and usage rights management for creative assets.
Familiarity with review/approval workflows and tools that support review annotations, approvals, and audit trails.
Ability to monitor asset linkage and downstream usage (proactively track where assets are used and manage dependencies).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; proven ability to identify and resolve duplication and cleanliness issues in large media libraries.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; experience training non-technical users.
Proficiency with one or more enterprise DAM platforms (examples: Veeva Vault, Adobe Experience Manager) and common file formats (images, video, design files).
Comfortable working with basic reporting and analytics to measure asset discoverability and usage.
