Job summary

Hudson County Community College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in Digital Art to teach on-ground at JSQ and NHC campuses in Jersey City, NJ. The role starts at a rate of $956.00 per credit with remote options available.

Qualifications include a Master's degree and ability to engage a culturally diverse student body. Teaching more than one class is preferred. Benefits include ABP retirement and tuition discount opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a discipline or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and to communicate effectively across cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Digital Imaging – create digital images with Adobe Photoshop and other tools.
• Digital Animation – 2D/3D animation using Creative Cloud apps and Cinema 4D or Blender.
• 3D Digital Design – 3D modeling, scanning, and printing.
• Interactive/Web Design – front-end design using Figma; intro to HTML/CSS.
• Digital Video – prepro/production/postproduction with cameras, lighting, audio, Premiere Pro.
• Print Design – graphic design with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
