Job summary

Razorfish, Inc. seeks a part-time freelance Technology Director, Digital Accessibility, to lead senior-level accessibility work for a single client engagement with a strong focus on PDF tagging and remediation.

The role shapes strategy, tooling decisions, and quality standards to keep content accessible and compliant over time. Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, PDF/UA, and Adobe Acrobat Pro tagging is required; you will guide and review work rather than perform every detail.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of digital accessibility (WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508) with practical PDF tagging experience.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro tagging environment, PDF/UA, and common tagging challenges.
• Ability to advise a client on accessibility strategy while guiding practical PDF work.
• Experience as a freelancer, able to direct client work independently.

Responsibilities

• Define accessibility approach for client documents, including source tooling and end-to-end PDF tagging workflow.
• Set tagging standards and work with content teams to minimize downstream cleanup.
• Direct PDF tagging: reading order, semantic structure, metadata to meet PDF/UA and WCAG.
