Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Regional Support Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy across the Michigan region. This on-site role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings to drive positive patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Requirements include an RDN credential and state licensure (or willingness to obtain). Travel across Michigan; schedule typically M-F with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required or eligible for active status.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willingness to obtain license) in the practicing state.
• Specialty certification when required by role.
• Two years of work experience in a specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
• Education: provide nutrition guidance to patients, staff, and families.
• Evidence-based practice: align with diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & performance improvement: support QAPI initiatives.
• Collaboration: work with food service team to achieve patient satisfaction.
• Mentorship: support growth of staff and interns.

Location: Regional travel required; on-site to support multiple accounts and locations across Michigan (Detroit, Grand Blanc, and Warren MI)

Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, CNSC credential preferred and/or NICU experience
Position Details:Join our team as a Regional Support Dietitian and play a key role in delivering specialized clinical nutrition support across the Michigan region. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings to provide high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidence-based nutrition care that drives positive patient outcomes.This position requires flexibility and a willingness to support multiple projects and accounts, including travel across the Michigan region to meet clinical and operational needs.

Hourly Pay:$40.00/hour-$43.00/hour

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do:

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For:
