Compass Group is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy across Michigan acute care settings. The role requires RDN credential, license, and regional travel to support multiple accounts and locations. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and provide education to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is required.
• Licensed Dietitian in the state of practice or able to obtain licensure.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in acute care settings and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
• Educate patients, families, staff on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for long-term wellness.
• Apply current evidence-based practice in line with diet manuals and facility protocols.
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives to advance patient care.
• Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentor dietetic staff and interns where applicable.

Setting: Inpatient

Schedule: M-F availability, weekend coverage as business requires, on-site required

Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, CNSC credential preferred and/or NICU experience

Position Details: Join our team as a Regional Support Dietitian and play a key role in delivering specialized clinical nutrition support across the Michigan region. In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings to provide high-quality Medical Nutrition Therapy and evidence-based nutrition care that drives positive patient outcomes. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to support multiple projects and accounts, including travel across the Michigan region to meet clinical and operational needs.

Hourly Pay: $40.00/hour-$43.00/hour

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do:

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes

• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community

• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care

• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence

• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals

• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For:
