Job summary

Gourmet Dining, a member of Compass Group USA, seeks a Behavioral Health Dietitian (Full-Time) at a Rutgers Campus Behavioral Health Facility. You will manage nutrition care for patients in a 60-bed facility, teach nutrition education, support interdisciplinary teams, and assist with tray line operations and menu reviews.

The role includes HIPAA compliance, participation in QA/PI programs, and providing nutrition education to day school students as needed. A $5000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required.
• RD Eligible welcomed where applicable.
• Licensed by state dietetics board where required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, EMR & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Create and present monthly nutrition education to day school students.
• Review patient menus and diet orders daily for compliance.
• Follows all guidelines in Diet Manual and Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
• Complies with regulatory standards (HIPAA, patient rights).
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and Quality Improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

We are seeking aBehavioral HealthDietitian (Full-Time) to join our nutrition team at a Behavioral Health Facility located on the Rutgers Campus. This Registered Dietitian will manage all nutrition care for our patients in our 60-bed facility. The dietitian will teach nutrition education group classes, attend interdisciplinary meetings and counsel outpatient day school children as needed. This position will also assist with tray line operations and reviewing menus in our small operation.

$5000 Sign On Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Create and present monthly nutrition education to day school students
• Review patient menus and diet orders daily for compliance
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required. RD Eligible Welcome.
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required
• Experience in food service preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming
