Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for inpatients, focusing on specialty nutrition care and evidence-based practice. You will join a collaborative team and drive outcomes by applying robust dietetic standards.

You will support staff development, participate in QAPI initiatives, and help advance patient nutrition care through education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and create individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty to promote recovery and health outcomes
• Education: Offer nutrition and lifestyle guidance to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply current research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Work with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support training of staff and residents through education and mentorship

Requirement: Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Position Details: Seeking a dietitian specialist to provide inpatient nutrition care for Medical-Surgical ICU. The role requires obtaining CNSC certification within one year. RD will be trained on TPN and Cortrak tube team.
