Job summary

Compass Group USA through Morrison Healthcare seeks a Clinical Dietitian in Decatur, GA to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for Long-Term Acute Care patients and educate patients, families, and staff. You will work with a collaborative care team to deliver evidence-based nutrition care that supports recovery and outcomes.

The role is full-time, with CNSC certification preferred or required to obtain within a year, and a Licensed Dietitian is required in the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian (or eligible) in the applicable state.
• CNSC certification preferred or must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Two years of work experience in the specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education for LTAC patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Apply evidence-based practice in diet care and documentation.
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Partner with food service management to support patient satisfaction.
• Mentor and train dietetic interns and staff when applicable.

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in Long-Term Acute Care, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do:

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• CNSC or aquire within 1 year of employment
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
