Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian in Charleston, SC. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical nutrition assessments and create patient-specific care plans.
• Provide education on nutrition and lifestyle to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply evidence-based practice aligned with the diet manual and facility protocols.
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the food service team to meet patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support mentorship and training of dietetic interns and staff when applicable.

Job Summary

Make a real impact as a Clinical Dietitian! You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for patients in a specialty area, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

What You’ll Do:

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required- willing to obtain CNSC within one (1) year of hire
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
