Encompass Health is seeking a Dietitian to assess nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition plans for patients in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will educate patients on post-discharge diets and monitor nutritional status as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The role emphasizes counseling, documentation, and adherence to physician orders, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth within a national rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with credentialing
• State licensure required
• Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership preferred
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition

Responsabilités

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instruction.
• Communicate with physicians and other involved disciplines in patient care.
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods.
• Document pertinent information in the patient’s medical record.
• Implement nutrition care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate recommendations.
• Review, revise, and sign off menus for nutritional adequacy.
