Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. through Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital in Lubbock, TX seeks a Dietitian to join our inpatient team on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities include coordinating meals with the Food Services Manager, planning diets for general and special needs, and aligning daily practice with the hospital’s mission. Candidates must hold a current Dietitian license, prefer hospital experience, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Dietitian license or CD certification as required by state.
• Minimum 1 year hospital-based patient care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
• Proficient computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with others.
• Commitment to patient safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to lead, delegate, organize, and educate staff.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current Dietitian license required or certified by the Commission on Dietetics, as required by state.
• One year of experience in the care of patients in hospital setting preferred.
