Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated dietitian for our Wagoner, OK facility to assess nutritional needs and develop individualized dietary plans. You will educate patients on healthy eating, monitor progress, and support post-discharge nutrition planning within a compassionate care team.

As part of a renowned inpatient rehabilitation leader, you will collaborate with physicians and others to optimize nutrition, document care, and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or equivalent.
• State licensure required.
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited program.
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instructions.
• Coordinate with physicians and other care disciplines in patient care.
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods.
• Document pertinent information in the medical record per standards.
• Implement care plans, adapt menus, and assist with special dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and provide recommendations.
• Review and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
