Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North Mississippi, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Position is part-time/PRN with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligibility required, with licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian in the practicing state as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in line with the diet manual, policies, and facility protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service team to support patient satisfaction.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns where applicable.

Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

Schedule: Part-time/PRN/Per Diem availability with flexible scheduling. Available weekends, holidays, and Monday-Friday for vacation coverage and to support business needs as required.

Requirement: Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Position Details: Provide individualized nutrition assessment, intervention, and education to inpatient and outpatient populations while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.

Hourly Pay: $35/hr-$40/hr
