Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS is seeking a part-time/PRN Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You’ll assess, educate, and implement individualized nutrition care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are RDNs or eligible for CDR, licensed to practice in the state, and have a passion for education and patient outcomes. Flexible scheduling supports weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RDN) or eligible for CDR exam.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction.

Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient

Schedule: Part-time/PRN/Per Diem availability with flexible scheduling. Available weekends, holidays, and Monday–Friday for vacation coverage and to support business needs as required.

Requirement: Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Position Details: Provide individualized nutrition assessment, intervention, and education to inpatient and outpatient populations while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.

Hourly Pay: $35/hr-$40/hr
