Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a dedicated dietitian to promote health and wellness through personalized nutrition plans. You’ll play a crucial role in improving the well-being of patients in your community.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines in patient care.
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods.
• Document information in the patient’s medical record per established standards.
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs.
