Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Clinical Nutritionist with CNSC credential to perform nutrition care across patient care areas. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, education for patients and staff, and alignment with Joint Commission and state standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR/AND), and possesses the CNSC credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
• CNSC Credential.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutrition status of patients using biochemical, anthropometric, physical and dietary data.
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or family members.
• Maintain quality assurance and evaluate compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and state/federal guidelines.
• Develop and participate in educational sessions for staff to improve nutritional knowledge and patient care.
• Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory agency guidelines and assist in statistical analysis of data and action plans for performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in department PI projects and clinical nutrition programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
